Nooku Jams are unconference style events that focus mostly on developing with the Nooku Framework. Code Jams are born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, hacking and interaction from developers who are the main actors of the event.
Nooku Framework allows you to save almost 80% of code! By doing most of the work for you and also allowing you to implement tried and tested programming design patterns and architecture.
Everything about Nooku is designed to make the programmer's life easy and fun. This is the upgrade that you need in your programming skills!

What can you expect
The Nooku Jam is an opportunity to get down and dirty with the Nooku Framework.
What is Nooku? It's a new PHP framework with a focus on design patterns and correct architecture in solving development problems.
If you are interested in learning advanced concepts in programming, take Nooku for a spin and attend the Nooku Jam. It's very different from frameworks like Kohana, Yii, CakePHP, CodeIgniter, etc. Those frameworks offer you their own style of development with a quick learning curve.
Nooku is a bit different. It will elevate your programming skills by teaching you time tested, higher level programming through correct architectures and design patterns and is very rewarding once you get its concepts. During the Jam, we will reveal some amazing secrets of Nooku Server Alpha 4, released on the 1st of July, and take a sneak peak into work being done for Alpha 5.
